Testimonials

I asked Mary Beth to help develop a lead a retreat for myself and four friends, and it was an incredible experience.  We really wanted to create a space and time for all of us to come together to reset and have this bonding experience to explore where we want to go in our lives.

Mary Beth really worked with me to figure out what we wanted to get out of the experience, what we’d want to develop and cultivate both in terms of how we cultivate mindfulness and take it forward, as well as what we’d dive into in the actual workshop.

She led us on some incredible visualization exercises and showed us ways we could be more present and mindful in our daily lives – and how we can lean on each other as friends to support each other on a daily basis.

The retreat really exceeded our expectations.  We all came away feeling liked we’d had these few hours of reflection, learning, and amazing bonding experience together – and we’re all excited to do it again.

I can’t recommend working with Mary Beth enough.  She was amazing in the process of planning the retreat and especially in leading it.  She’s really has an incredible expertise to draw from, both from the psychology and scientific side of mindfulness and purpose to the more spiritual and emotional side of it.  She created a space where we can be vulnerable together and very open.

I can’t recommend working with Mary Beth more highly.  I know my friends and I will come back to do more of this work with her again.

I greatly enjoyed Mary Beth’s retreat. She is an expert in this space who immediately gave off this charm and passion that made me feel comfortable and capable.

Her retreat was transformative in boosting my confidence, to realize how far I have come and how I already possess everything I need to be exactly who I want to be.

Prior to the retreat, mindfulness seemed out of reach to me, but Mary Beth provided simple tools and guidance on how to practice mindfulness and to live my purpose, in simple ways.

It was like a lightbulb went off in my mind. Reflecting and checking in with yourself is something that every body can succeed at and would benefit from.

Of course, it will still be a journey and is something you need to practice, but checking in with yourself regularly results in greater awareness each time and can become an obtainable habit.

I think my biggest take away is that in practicing mindfulness and checking in with myself on my own needs, i can be generous and impactful to others but still prioritize my own needs as well.

“The retreat I attended with Mary Beth was literally the best and most important thing I’ve ever done in my life.  I struggle with extreme anxiety and PTSD on a daily basis. The environment built was so safe and supportive that I was able to push through my discomfort and learn real truths about myself. I’m not who my inner critic says I am. I am more. I am worthwhile.  My life has changed tremendously since this retreat, and I’m very grateful.”

“I learned so much in these sessions that I felt like my mind was blown!  So many things I used to think were set in stone aren’t.  I can control how I react to things.  I don’t have to keep beating myself up or believing my inner critics.  I stop and meditate to understand what’s happening and decide how to respond.  Everyone should learn these skills – but they should do so from Mary Beth, as she is an incredible teacher with tons of experience, wisdom, and compassion.  MB is kind, warm, and never gives up on people, even when I felt like giving up on myself.  She also makes it fun, and I laughed more than I cried (if that’s possible)!”

“My work with Mary Beth was deeply moving.  The setting/ambiance and the way this experience was set up allowed me to be transported in a sense.  I went deeper than I ever thought I’d be able to.  I had some major insights and realized I’m not alone in having an inner critic.  I’ve used the tools, and I’m more compassionate with myself.  I felt restored and am energized with a new sense of direction.”

“If you’re walking a journey in life, walk it with MB.  She’s able to go deep, to help with not just practical day-to-day skills that help but to really help you look at your soul and follow what’s important.  With her at your side, you can look at the ugly stuff and know you’ll be okay.  She makes it all seem doable and helps you feel confident.  I have made some huge changes with her help that I never could have done on my own or with anyone else.”

“Since the sessions, I have been more aware of when I start to feel anxious, and those inner critic fears start taking over my mind, I recognize that I can take a moment, pause, and choose how I want to respond. I don’t have to just give in, and go down the rabbit hole. I can even think of a specific moment that first day after, when I felt the tightening and the anxiety and the fears from insecurity, and I paused and said ‘I can choose how to respond to this. I don’t have to let this take over my mind.”

“Including ceremony in our weekend retreat was my favorite part. I felt so connected to the other women, to nature, to a bigger purpose. With her leadership, experience, and ability to hold space, Mary Beth held us so clearly and really were doing some deep work. It just felt like the right thing to do. I loved it. It felt very powerful – I could feel the letting go and the shifts. I want more of that in my life!!”

“I felt totally safe and contained. It was clear Mary Beth could handle whatever could have come up.  I got to know these amazing women and felt so inspired. I would do this again in a heartbeat and plan to make it to one of these retreats annually.  I learned, I grew, and I felt completely inspired.  THANK YOU!!”

“I think what stands out most about Mary Beth, though, is her ability to create environments. Whether it’s as facilitator of a workshop, leader of a team meeting, or host at a dinner table, she perfectly owns her role by thoughtfully creating spaces where everyone is comfortable to participate and contribute. And that makes teams stronger. I’m better in so many ways because of her mentorship.”

“Mary Beth draws the best from people. She has a masterful ability to identify and reveal the beliefs, values or behaviors limiting a person’s potential. Her thoughtful, kind and calming presence is a gift to any interaction or program. She also has a keen understanding of group dynamics, and can navigate the trickiest of circumstances with her natural gravitas. She’s a true professional.”

“I have tremendous respect for Mary Beth, she is one of the smartest, most insightful people I’ve worked with during my career. I hired her to do leadership training and her work was widely admired by our teams. She has a remarkable ability to bring people together to identify challenges and solve problems with warmth and inclusiveness. She is an effective coach who knows how to assess an individual’s strength and opportunities and inspire them to grow and improve. “
